The objective of this workshop is to investigate the motivational aspects of desire in ancient philosophy and to establish a colloquium that will allow an understanding of the role of desire in the psychological models and practical rationality of the main philosophical proposals of Greco-Roman antiquity (Plato, Aristotle and Stoicism).
